I still can't believe that one month ago, I was in the hospital giving birth to Gavin. It's amazing to see how quickly he has grown in just his first month. He went from weighing 7.6 lbs at birth to now weighing 9 lbs according to my scale. Gavin has his 1-month check-up this Friday so we'll get the official weigh-in then. His eyes are still a blueish-gray so who knows how long that will last. Gavin is also starting to follow things with his eyes and is also holding his head up pretty well.
Justin's mom came out to visit and help us a few days after Gavin was born. She was such a huge help and I couldn't be more thankful for all that she did. She made my recovery so much easier, I don't know what I would have done without her. She was here for almost three weeks and that time went by so quickly! Thanks again Mom for all your help! We miss you so much already!
