I found this quote and thought it was a perfect saying to describe my two kids:
Yesterday we took Savanna ice skating! It was her very first time and she had a blast!!! She had a smile on her face the whole time!! Justin tried to teach her how to 'glide' on the skates, but all she wanted to do was go fast, so all you saw was her feet going back and forth, back and forth! It was too funny! She definitely wants to do it again, maybe even take some lessons! She also loved watching all the other little girls in their pretty ice skating dresses going around in circles looking like little ballerinas on ice. Owen was all bundled up under three blankets napping away the whole time. At least he was warm, I was freezing!

Today, Owen turned 3 months old! My baby boy is getting big! He laughed for the first time last night and it was too cute! Justin was so proud to make him laugh. Too bad I didn't get it on camera. We didn't do much today. Savanna had school and our routine was pretty much the same. I did get some great pics today and I will post them tomorrow. We're planning on going to the Wild Animal Park, so I should get more pics there too!

Yesterday we went bowling! It was Savanna's first time and she had so much fun! Savanna was so excited and she looked so cute in her little bowling shoes. It was nice that the bowling alley had a ramp to help push the balls down the lane. She would jump up and down as she watched the ball go down the lane and hit the pins hoping to get a strike! We played two games and after we got some ice cream! Owen just hung out in his car seat watching us and was such a good boy.
The next adventure that Savanna wants to try is ice skating!! Can't wait to see her do that!

Yesterday, we put Owen in his exersaucer for the first time and he had a blast! It was so cute seeing his little feet touch the bottom. You could see the focus in his eyes as he was trying to play with the toys. Here's a little video I got of him. Of course once I started recording he didn't want to do anything. Oh well, he's still so cute in it!

Well not much has been happening lately, so I haven't posted in a while. We got through the 'big storm' that hit us last weekend. It really wasn't too bad. It just rained on and off for three days straight. So since we haven't been out much, I've only managed to take pictures inside, but here are some new ones:

Today was such a beautiful day! Quite warm for the beginning of January, but who's complaining? I'm not! Savanna, Owen and I went to a park that is situated on top of a hill and there is a track that goes around a big grassy area that is perfect for Savanna to ride her tricycle around. We had a great time and saw some of our playgroup friends too! We played on the playground for a while and then headed home to eat lunch. Owen had a blast. I carried him the whole time in the Baby Bjorn and he loved being out under the sun!

Happy 2008 Everyone! Last night we just stayed home and brought the new year in quietly. Justin woke Savanna up about ten minutes before the ball dropped. She didn't quite understand what was going on, but she celebrated with us anyways and had a little sip of apple cider. Owen was asleep but we quietly wished him a happy new year and gave him kisses.
