Yo Ho, Yo Ho!!

It's a Pirate Life for Savanna!! The theme at school this week was...Pirates!! She got to make a pirate hat and an eye patch and the best part was she got to tie dye a t-shirt! Then today, the whole class got to put the whole outfit together and march in a parade around school. Savanna was so excited about the parade and so proud of her pirate gear!

But of course there isn't a mean bone in her body so she started laughing after trying to look mean:

Check-Up Stats

Today, Savanna had her 4-year check-up at the doctor. She has grown 3 inches since last year and is now 40.5 inches tall (65%)!! She did so well getting all of her shots, not a tear in sight for our tough girl! Her doctor and nurse were so impressed with her.

Owen had his 9-month check-up, too. He is getting long and skinny! Owen is now 29.25 inches (80%) and 19 lbs. 12 oz. (40%). He is very active these days, crawling and pulling up on everything so he hasn't gained much weight, but the doctor said that was normal. No shots for him this visit, yay!

We were very proud of our kids and how well they did today.

Happy 9 Months Owen!

Yesterday Owen turned 9 months old!! Yay! Only 3 more months until his first birthday!!! Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! Owen is growing up so fast! He is crawling and pulling up now and still loves to eat! He has his check-up next week and Savanna has her 4-year check-up at the same time.

Sleepover, Part 2

Last Friday, Savanna had another sleepover with her cousin, Keira! This time, Keira came over and stayed the night at our house. We set up the tent in the living room and they had a camp "in". They were so excited to sleep in the tent! Savanna and Keira have so much fun together, I know they want to make this a recurring event!
