Go Padres!

On Sunday, we decided to go to a Padres game! It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed watching the game. We got a great deal on our tickets, they were only $12 each and included a hot dog and a soda! The seats were at the top but the view was really nice! It was a little windy up there but luckily we all brought jackets. After the game we stopped by Sunset Cliffs for some picture taking.

We hope you all had a great Easter! Savanna didn't seem to mind that we didn't do the traditional Easter things like egg hunting but she did enjoy all her new dresses that she got from the bunny. She just goes along with the flow. Such a good girl!

The Flower Fields

On Saturday, we planned on going strawberry picking. When we got there, we found out that picking didn't start until the following Monday. So we bought some yummy strawberries instead and headed to The Flower Fields of Carlsbad.

A guy at the strawberry stand gave Savanna the biggest strawberry that I've ever seen! I couldn't take a picture fast enough before most of it was gobbled up by her:

They gave out Stamp Passports to the kids. They have to find the orange flag stations and stamp their passport. Savanna loved doing this:

These flowers were made of Legos since Legoland is right down the street:

Thanks to Uncle Greg for finding the way out of the maze:

Sightseeing

On Friday, we took Greg and Alison to Coronado Island and La Jolla for some sightseeing. It was raining at our house, but thankfully at the coast, it was sunny!

I think the backdrop of downtown SD looks fake in these pics:

Justin's birthday

Last Thursday was Justin's birthday! Our friends Greg and Alison came to visit us from Georgia just in time to help us celebrate! We spent the day at the zoo. It was quite busy since it was spring break, but we made the best of it and just hoped it wouldn't rain on us. I took a lot of pictures so get ready for an overload!

I convinced Savanna to get her face painted, but she wanted me to do it with her, so we both got matching butterflies on our cheeks! It was so fun:

Love it!
