Recent Pics

Here are some recent pics from the past few days:

Justin and I at my friend's wedding in San Diego (see my new haircut? Whadya think?):

Owen also got a haircut when I did. He's so cute:

And at the park yesterday:

I asked Owen to give me a big cheese and this is what I got:

Our Star Student of the Week

This week Savanna is the Star Student of the Week! She had to complete a poster, which I forgot to take a pic of (sorry), which included a pic of her, the family, and she had to answer some questions:

  • What do you want to be when you grow up? A Make-Up Stylist!

  • Where is your favorite place? Disneyland

  • What is your favorite thing to do? Play with Owen (aww)

  • If you had one wish, what would it be? To get a bracelet and a necklace

I thought she answered these questions quite well! I don't know when she changed her mind from wanting to be a teacher to a make-up stylist, but I guess that's what happens when you're young! :) She was very excited to turn in her poster once it was done. Then the next day she got to present it to her class and she got to wear a crown too!

Belly Pic - 20 weeks

Here I am at 20 weeks, 4 days, which was last Saturday. I'm feeling much better these days, although I can't sleep on my back anymore. :( I'm also starting to have more of a sweet tooth lately which probably isn't good since I haven't been eating very well either! Easter is when it all started and I need to get back on the healthy eating track! Maybe I should stop watching the food channel too, that might help! :)

Oh and stay tuned for new pics...I chopped my hair off!

IT'S A BOY!

We had an ultrasound today and it's confirmed, we're having a BOY!!! The baby is doing well and everything looks good. Now we have to decide on a name! For me, boys names are just so much harder to come up with than girls names.

Confirming it's a boy:

Hoppy Easter!

It was a quiet Easter day filled with relaxing and playing outside for us. We started out the day with an egg hunt in the backyard. Then the kids opened their eggs and presents. Of course they wanted to have candy for breakfast so I let them have one egg each.

Trying on their easter masks sent by Gramma (Thank you!):

They got new shoes! :)

Later that afternoon, Savanna wanted to try riding her bike without the training wheels. We have been talking about this and she has seen some of her friends do it too. So Justin held her bike the whole time and wasn't able to let go so she could try it. She got scared that she would fall so we put the training wheels back on and we'll try again soon hopefully!

Discovery Science Center

Last Thursday, we went to the Discovery Science Center in Orange County. We went there to watch a special show called Bubblefest. It's put on by the founder of Gazillion Bubbles, Fan Yang. He is amazingly talented and the show was great! I couldn't take any pics while the show was on but literally at the end of the show, there were a gazillion bubbles all around us. The kids loved it! After the show, we walked around the science center and had more fun! My cousin, Rommel and family joined us and we always have a great time with them!

This was in the earthquake simulator:

On a zamboni:

Then we went to Mrs. Knotts Chicken Dinner Restaurant at Knotts Berry Farm for lunch. They are known for their fried chicken and it definitely lived up to its name! It was so yummy!

One last stroll before we headed home:

Belly Pic - 17 weeks

Here I am last week at 17 weeks pregnant. I feel like my tummy is much bigger than it looks! I have started wearing some of my maternity clothes, mostly just the bottoms though. I had a doctor's appt last week too and we got to see the baby again! Yay! I love seeing the baby! No pics though, boo! But all is well and we're hoping to find out the gender soon. We can't wait!
