Spring Parade & Potluck

Yesterday, Savanna had her St. Patty's/Spring Parade and Potluck at school. It was very cute. They all made rainbow hats to wear while parading around through all of the classes. Then they had a surprise toy hunt before the potluck.

Children's Museum

On St. Patrick's Day, Owen and I went to the Children's Museum in downtown San Diego with my brother and my niece. They had three levels of fun for the kids to check out. There was also one room made especially for kids 2 and under so Owen had a blast in that room! He also really loved the bubble area. My niece enjoyed exploring everything and it was so much fun watching her.

This was taken before we dropped Savanna off at school:

Such a cute picture:

The Rain House - it sounded like it was raining inside, but there was no water to be seen anywhere:

I loved this colorful mural in the climbing room:

Back in the Rain House for a snack:

This area was for playing with clay and in the background, there's a car you can paint on and they used green paint for St. Patty's Day:

After the museum, we went to Pizzeria Luigi for lunch. They have the best NY style pizza and have been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives:

Wedding weekend

Last weekend we went to Redondo Beach for my cousin's wedding. Savanna got to be a flower girl for the first time! She was very excited and so were we! She did such a great job through the whole thing. From the rehearsal on Friday night to the many pictures that were taken after the ceremony, she was such a good listener and we didn't even have to follow her around to make sure she did what she was told. She stayed up late on Friday and Saturday night and overall she did great! We were so proud of her, but we knew deep down that she was going to do a great job!

The wedding itself was so beautiful! It was at a church overlooking the ocean. It was a very emotional day. My cousin looked stunning in her dress! After the ceremony we got to watch the sunset and then it was off to the reception for dinner and dancing! It was great seeing the rest of my cousins and their families. It was like a mini family reunion and we all had so much fun!

Here are a bunch of pictures from our weekend:

This was the view from our hotel room (the weather was perfect the whole weekend):
