We had an usually warm week to start the new year. So since Savanna wasn't back to school yet, we decided to take advantage of the nice, warm weather and head to the beach! The closest beach to us is Oceanside which is about half an hour away. The kids had so much fun playing in the sand and building sand castles. They did touch the water even though it was super cold and managed to get their pants and sleeves wet!
