Happy 2009! And #100!!!!

Happy New Year everyone! We wish you all a healthy and prosperous new year.

We stayed home and watched the ball drop on tv. Owen was sick and had a fever so he went to bed very early. And for the first time ever, we let Savanna stay up 'til midnight with us! She was so excited and I knew she would have no problem staying up. For most of the night, she just laid on the couch and relaxed. But by the time midnight came rolling around, I knew she was really tired and she had a little meltdown. We calmed her down just in time to count the last few seconds before the new year started and she was fine. Then we sipped on apple cider and it was off to bed for her. She fell asleep quickly and we thought (or hoped) she would sleep in but we were wrong! She was up by 6:30am the following morning. So we're not sure if we'll be doing that again next year!

Here is Owen right before bed, can you tell he didn't feel well?

Justin and Savanna making silly faces on the couch:

This was right after Savanna's little meltdown, can you see the tears in her red eyes?

Now she's okay, and we're celebrating:

Max, too:

And in other blogging news, this is my 100th post!! Woo hoo!! I hope you all have enjoyed my blog and I would love to hear if you have! Leave me a comment!! It's easy to do and right below.

Looks like a fun New Year! I'm glad Savanna had fun staying up until midnight, I think we'll try and let Mia do that next year!
