We hope you all had a great Christmas!

Then we moved on to presents! Savanna wanted to play Santa but she didn't quite understand that the name after the "To" was who the present was for. So since most of the presents had her name on it, either on the to or from part, she thought all of the presents were for her! Silly girl! So Justin took over that job and we proceeded to open our presents. Owen wasn't very interested in opening presents so he ate breakfast instead and just watched us.

On Christmas Eve, Savanna made sure to leave Santa and his reindeer some treats. She was a very good girl and went to bed on time since we were tracking Santa online and she saw that he was getting close! So on Christmas morning, both kids were awake by 6:30am and Savanna was so excited to go downstairs and see what Santa left for her. First she checked to see if Santa ate his cookies and if the reindeer ate their carrots. She ate the cookie that was leftover and was so happy to think that it was Santa that left it for her!
Then we started by opening up our stockings. Savanna really loved her new lip gloss and carried it around with her the whole day! She also got a new toothbrush that plays music and toothpaste to go with it, a princess notebook, hello kitty band-aids, and bracelets. Owen got two new sippy cups and some Diego band-aids! We know he's probably going to need those in the future!
My parents came over and that afternoon, we went up to my cousin's house to have dinner. Savanna was very excited to see her cousin, Keira. Owen did a lot of walking there and we were so proud of him! We ate lots of food, as usual, then opened more presents! My brother and his family were unable to make it because they were sick. We were all supposed to find out what my sister-in-law is having since she's pregnant. But instead they opened the envelope with all of us on the phone and we were so happy to find out she's having a BOY!! Yay, Owen is going to have another buddy!!!
Thank you so much to everyone that sent us gifts! We really appreciate the thoughtfulness!
