Savanna had two Valentine's Day parties at school. One on Thursday and one on Friday. We covered a shoe box in wrapping paper and glued on some hearts and flowers to make it look really cute for when she does her card exchange with her friends. I went to her party on Friday and helped with the cookie decorating. Most of them did their card exchange on Thursday so I didn't get to see them do that. But they had fun and were so anxious to see the different cards and candies that they received.

Savanna made us a really cute frame in her art class. I love the way it turned out!
Then on Valentine's Day, we went to my cousin's house for lunch. After lunch, the kids decorated heart sugar cookies. We got to see my cousin's new baby, Brendan. He is 3 weeks old and so cute and tiny! That seemed like so long ago with Owen!

Then last night, Savanna and I decided to top off our Valentine's weekend by making a strawberry cake! We had fun baking it and then icing it together. I think it came out well and it sure tastes good!!
