Nov 2012: Veteran's Day Parade

Savanna's Girl Scout Troop walks in the Murrieta Veteran's Day Parade every year and this year we all were able to attend and enjoyed cheering her troop on. 

Oct 2012: Halloween

Wow, can we just say I suck at blogging?  I do.  And I'm sorry. 

I'll be posting a bunch of pictures to show what we've been up to and try to catch up on what has gone on.

Oct 2012: Owen's 5th Birthday at Legoland

Please forgive me for the lack of posting!  I know I keep saying I'll keep up, but life has gotten the best of me and stolen all my time.  :)  I promise to do my best at being better at posting on a regular basis! 


So back in October, we celebrated Owen's 5th birthday at Legoland.  He had been looking forward to it for a long time!  I can't believe how much Owen has grown.  My little boy isn't quite so little anymore...it makes me a little sad!  We had such a great time at Legoland.  My brother and his family joined us too!  Since it was October, they also celebrated Halloween by having "brick-or-treat" stations and I thought they were so cool!  A lot of the treats were somewhat healthy too!  They also put on halloween themed shows and one of the shows we went to was a dance show and Gavin absolutely loved it!  He got on stage all by himself and danced with all the other kids!  He was so cute!

Aug 2012: Gavin's 2nd Birthday!

We can't believe our little boy is 2 already!  He is such a bundle of energy, wanting to be everywhere all the time.  On the day of his actual birthday, we just laid low and bought a small cake to have that night.  Then the following Saturday, we had a small party at Child's Play in Temecula.  It's an awesome kids play place that holds private parties on the weekends.  We had the place all to ourselves and had so much fun!  I highly recommend this place to anyone with young kids that need to release some energy!  Justin's Mom arrived a few days before and joined us in the celebration too!  We were so glad she was able to join in the festivities!
